Da Nang delegation visits Metran during their ongoing business trip to Japan
Within the framework of their ongoing business trip to Japan, a group of Da Nang officials led by Municipal Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang on Monday morning visited and worked with Metran Co., a manufacturer based in Kawaguchi, Saitama Prefecture. The Da Nang visitors were hosted by Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc, the President of Metran Co., along with Mr. Ho Van Minh, the Director of Metran Research and Development Institute.

During Monday’s meeting with Da Nang officials, Mr. Ho Van Minh remarked that Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc, the President of Metran Co.,, had created many impressive inventions, including respirator or mechanical ventilator that helps babies who can't breathe on their own or who need help taking bigger breaths. Currently, Metran Corporation has more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing high-tech medical devices in Japan while its products are used in more than 90% of the Pediatric Clinics in Japan and many countries around the world.
Emperor Akito visited Metran Co., in 2012 to recognize its remarkable contribution to reducing neonatal mortality associated with preterm birth. In Viet Nam, Metran Co., has been licensed to build Metran Vitec Co., Ltd. in Binh Duong Province since 2013.

Currently, Metran 's main products are mechanical ventilators for infants and sleep apnea machines, such as a CPAP machine, that provide constant air pressure throughout the night, in addition to respirators for patients with chronic respiratory disease.
In his remarks at Monday’s meeting with Da Nang officials, Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc revealed that Metran is conducting a research to produce mechanical ventilators in the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park with funding from the Japanese Government to serve domestic and international markets. In 2022, Metran visited Da Nang to learn about its investment climate.
Mrs Tran Thanh Thuy, the Acting Director of the Da Nang Department of Health highly appreciated Metran's medical devices for their technological level and efficient use, especially helping ease patient overload in the city’s major hospitals.

Mr Nguyen Van Quang highly appreciated and respected the contributions of Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc and Metran to Japan and the world, despite all the difficulties and the challenges that Mr Phuc and his company face, great contribution have been made to Viet Nam.
The Da Nang top leader hoped that Mr. Tran Ngoc Phuc and Metran would continue to create new inventions and new developments in the future with their enthusiasm and responsibility in an attempt to make more medical devices that are suitable for Vietnamese people.,
Mr Quang also hoped for further cooperation with Metran, and pledged to create the most favorable conditions for the company to deploy its investment projects in Da Nang in order to provide medical products for the domestic and international markets.
On this occasion, the Da Nang delegation also visited Japan-based Metran Research Center for Mechanical Ventilation in the Paediatric Patient.
