Phase 1 of 'River of Light' project to be completed in Q1- 2024
It is expected that Phase 1 of the ‘River of light’ project that aims to transform the iconic Han River into a spectacular river of light will reach completion in the first quarter of 2024.

Under this ambitious project, a cutting-edge light system will be installed along the river banks, between Song Han and Tran Thi Ly bridges, water surface section, as well as the bridges themselves spanning the river.
Dubbed 'the river of light' project, the initiative aims to create a series of amazing check-in sites for visitors to enjoy unforgettable moments during their stay in Da Nang.
Heed will be paid to building many lighting scenarios and plans to ensure a harmonious connection between the bridges and the two riverbanks, suitable for each occasion of the city-hosted festivals and festivals.
The Da Nang Management Board of Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Projects coordinated with the municipal Department of Construction to carry out investment procedures for deployment.
Measures will be taken to effectively manage and control light for works and buildings along the river, ensuring a harmony with the surrounding landscapes along river banks, water surface and bridges.
At the same time, relevant local agencies will conduct research and propose artistic lighting plans at some locations on the Son Tra Peninsula to create highlights and characteristics for the city's urban areas.
Da Nang has been known as the ‘city of bridges', fascinating visitors with its attractive views. The lighting design on the Rong (Dragon) Bridge, which was produced by the ASA Lighting Design Studio Company, received the ‘Best Citation' Award from the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD).
