Retail petrol prices up by VND500/ litre

The retail prices of petrol and oil were revised up in the latest adjustment made at 3:00pm on Monday by the Inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance.

Specifically, E5 RON 92 and RON 95-III petrol now cost VND22,800 and VND23,810 per litre, up by VND380 and VND490 respectively.

Similarly, the retail prices of oil products increased in the latest adjustment. Accordingly, diesel oil is being sold at VND20,500, a rise of VND250 per litre, and the price of kerosene went up by VND240 to a new price of VND20,710 per litre. Also, mazut oil increased by VND720 per kg to the maximum price of VND15,270 per kg.

Thus, the prices of domestic gasoline products have increased again after two consecutive declines. Since early this year, gasoline prices underwent 8 adjustments with 5 ups, 2 downs and 1 kept unchanged.

In the adjustment, the Inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance also decided to extract VND300 per litre from petrol and oil products for the petrol price stabilisation fund.
