According to a just - announced report released by the General Statistics Office of Viet Nam, the retail sales of goods in the first two months of 2023 reached an estimated VND7 81.8 trillion, up 10.1% over the same period last year.

Da Nang recorded the fastest growth in retail sales of goods in Viet Nam with 12.6%, followed by Quang Ninh Province with 10.6% and Dong Nai   Province with 9.7%.

Revenue from accommodation and food services in the first two months of 2023 hit VND109.1 trillion, up 31.6% over the same period last year, in which, Da Nang grew the fastest with 114.7% year-on-year, followed by Khanh Hoa Province up 65.7% and Quang Ninh Province up 47.7%.

Tourism revenue in the first two months of 2023 was VND 4.7 trillion VND, 2.2 times higher than the same period last year, in which Hai Phong City recorded the largest increase in tourism revenue, 17.5 times, followed by Tay Ninh Province with 15.9 times and Da Nang with 7.1 times.

Other service revenue in the first two months of 2023 was estimated at VND 98.6 trillion, up 16.2% over the year-ago period, in which Da Nang grew fastest with 86.4%, followed by Dong Nai Province up 26.5% and Khanh Hoa Province up 22.4%.
