Works start on Hoa Khuong Kindergarten and flood bridge over An Chau spillway
Groundbreakings for the Hoa Khuong Kindergarten, and a flood bridge over the An Chau spillway connecting Hoa Phong and Hoa Phu communes in Da Nang’s Hoa Vang District, were held on Saturday to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Da Nang.

The Hoa Khuong Kindergarten will be built in an area of 1ha in the resettlement area to serve the site clearance for the western ring road project in Village 5, Hoa Khuong Commune in order to replace the degraded one in low-lying area on the east side of National Highway 14B.
The project has a total investment of VND49 billion funded by the city budget. Of this figure, the construction cost is estimated to be VND41 billion, whilst the costs for equipment installation and other purposes will be VND8 billion. The project is expected to be completed in December 2023.
The 3-storey classroom block will feature 20 classrooms, including 2 reading rooms for children aged 6-18 months, and 2 informatics rooms.
The 2-storey administrative and auxiliary block will include a hall, a kitchen, and six rooms for physical and arts education.
Meanwhile, the construction of the 64m-long, 9m-wide An Chau flood bridge with design frequency to overcome flood 2% aims to replace An Chau spillway. The central budget-funded VND21 billion project is expected to be completed in September 2023.
