2 key projects using non-State budget capital to be deployed in Da Nang
The Da Nang Department of Transport is making preparations for commencing work on 2 key projects using investment capital outside the city's budget.

One is the development of a logistics service centre in Hoa Vang District and the other is the expansion of Terminal T1 and the construction of a cargo terminal at the Da Nang International Airport.
Specifically, the logistics service centre project whose investor is the Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company has been granted an investment registration certificate.
On December 29, 2022, the municipal Department of Transport announced the conclusion of the appraisal of the feasibility study report on the project, paving a way for construction to start.
Till date, the Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company has submitted the aforementioned report to the Viet Nam National Shipping Lines for approval of the project as a basis for implementing the next steps.
Work is expected to start on the project in the fourth quarter of 2023.
The Viet Nam Airlines Corporation is allocating capital for the project of expanding Terminal T1 and constructing a cargo terminal at the Da Nang International Airport pending the approval of investment planning.
Particularly, the upgrade of the cargo terminal was approved by the Da Nang People's Committee on June 20, 2022.
Currently, the Vietnam Airlines Corporation is implementing the procedures for approving the project, which is expected to start construction in the fourth quarter of 2023.
