The Da Nang Port JSC held a ceremony on Tuesday at the container terminal of the Tien Sa Port Enterprise to welcome the maiden call of REN JIAN 6 container ship under the Sinotrans - an international sea freight forwarder.

This was a crucial event, showing the trust and support of the shipping line and customers to the port, as well as great potential of Da Nang in particular and the Central Viet Nam as a whole.

The REN JIAN 6 is 182.83m long and 28m wide, and it has a designed carrying capacity of 1,510 TEUs.

Sinotrans Limited (referred to as "Sinotrans") was incorporated on 20 November 2002 and listed in Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2003. In addition to China and Hong Kong, Sinotrans has a long history of operations in Asia, Africa, America, Europe and other regions.
