Da Nang honoured for second time in a row as typical locality implementing Industry 4.0, digital transformation

Da Nang has been honoured with the award in the category of ‘Top typical organisations/localities actively implementing Industry 4.0 and digital transformation” as announced at the award ceremony of the ‘I4.0 Awards’ 2023 in the capital city of Ha Noi on Saturday.

The event was held by the Viet Nam Union of Science and Technology Associations, in collaboration with the Viet Nam Automation Association and the Institute of Digital Innovation and Transformation.

This is the second time in a row that Da Nang has been honored at the ‘I4.0 Awards’. The Da Nang People's Committee has been one of 7 organizations/localities awarded in the category "Top typical organizations/localities actively implementing the Industry 4.0 and digital transformation".

It is the second time the ‘I4.0 Awards’ contest has been held under the auspices of the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Information and Communications.

The event aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the active and proactive implementation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, digital transformation and innovation in localities, organisations and businesses, celebrate the development of traditional industrial enterprises, manufacturing plants, connect supply and demand for digital technology solutions and develop intelligent production and management.

There were 4 award categories: top industrial enterprises 4.0; top science - technology and innovation organisations/enterprises; top enterprises with intelligent digital products and Industry 4.0 technology solutions; top typical organisations/localities actively implementing Industry 4.0 and digital transformation.

This year’s contest received entries from 150 organisations and individuals. Through selection, 72 units were honoured at the awards ceremony.
