According to the Da Nang Department of Transport, along with the positive recovery momentum, transportation activities in April 2023 continued to grow strongly.

In detail, the passenger traffic volume in April went up by 30.5% over the same period in 2022 to reach 77.4 million Hk.km, and climbed up by 30.4 % to hit 285.6 million Hk.km as accumulated in the first 4 months of this year.

The volume of goods circulated was estimated at 348.3 million T.km, up 15.9% from the year-ago period, and at 1,3933 million T.km in the 4-month period, up 8.3%.

The revenue from transportation, warehousing, transportation support services, postal delivery in April was estimated at VND2,729 billion, up 18.7%, and  at VND10,599 4 billion in the 4-month period, up 31.8%.

It is known that over the past time, the transport sector has put into operation a public bike rental service on a pilot basis, organising the selection of contractors to operate subsidised bus fares in Phase 2, deploying the application of QR Code electronic tickets for passengers travelling by bus, and at the same time, putting into operation the working house combined with the waiting room for passengers at the Song Han (Han River) Port.
