Data provided by the Da Nang Department of Tourism shows that in June of 2023 alone, the number of guests served by local accommodation facilities was estimated at nearly 706,000, up 4.1% against May and 34.1% over the same period last year. In particular, 179,200 of them were foreigners, up 3.9% against previous month and 3.8 times higher than the same period last year, whilst the remaining 526,800 were domestic travellers, up 4.2% against May and 9.8% compared to the same period in 2022.

In the first half of the year, guests served by accommodation establishments in the city reached 3.5 million, achieving 89% of the plan in 2023 and 2.1 times higher than the same period in 2022. In which, international visitors were 930,000 arrivals, 11.3 times higher than the same period, whilst domestic tourists reached nearly 2.6 million arrivals, up 67.7% over the same period.

Accumulating the first 6 months of 2023, the revenue of the accommodation sector is estimated at VND 6,231billion, up 99%.

Between January and June, the city served 8,300 passengers on 13 cruise ship arrivals, and 405,095 passengers on inland waterway tours. Currently, the city has 15 regular international and 8 domestic routes.
