Da Nang's biggest tax payers in 2022 honoured

Top 82 taxpayers in Da Nang were honoured at a ceremony to announce the list of the biggest tax payers in the city held on Thursday.

The honourees contributed VND18,700 billion in total to the city’s total domestic revenue in 2022, reaching 123.8% of the estimate assigned by the National Government and representing 105.7% over the same period.

Municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh praised the business community and entrepreneurs for their great efforts in creating jobs for workers and joining hands with local authorities to well solve social welfare issues.

Prominent among them were organisations, businesses and individuals who always had a good sense of compliance with tax laws, fully declared and promptly paid arising taxes to the State budget, he added.

Vice Chairman Minh asked the local tax sector to well implement solutions, mechanisms and administrative procedures reform to enhance the investment environment, and improve the effectiveness of propaganda to support taxpayers in all stages, fields and departments with the aim to build a modern, lean, effective and efficient tax industry.

He took the opportunity to ask enterprises and individual taxpayers to promote the results achieved, comply with tax laws and policies, improve competitiveness, expand production and business scales, and create more jobs for locals, thereby actively contributing to the State budget.

Also at the ceremony, the municipal Tax Department honoured 82 typical tax payers. Amongst, 3 organisations received Certificates of Merit from the municipal People's Committee, whilst the remaining 79 organisations and individuals were awarded with Certificates of Merit.
