The Da Nang Department of Tourism, in coordination with the Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area and the Da Nang Tourism Association, on Wednesday, organised a workshop ‘Let each guide be a tourism ambassador’ with the participation of more than 200 guides across in the city. At the seminar, the representative of the Sun World Ba Na Hills introduced to the guides to the its ‘eco-system with many new, unique and attractive products.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, the trend of domestic and international tourists has changed a lot such as more tourists tending to go solo, strong digital transformation application in tourism activities; more attention paid to emotions and experience service quality…Therefore, each destination and tour guide must also make adjustments to suit that general trend.

According to the representative of the Department of Tourism, given the fact that Da Nang is a leading destination in Asia, it is a must-do for the guides to fully aware of their roles and responsibilities so that they are truly professional, always cultivating knowledge and enhance skills in a bid to adapt to tourism markets for the sake of the city’s better image.

In addition, the guides also shared experiences and mentioned difficulties facing them and obstacles in the process of guiding guests, along with proposed ideas to businesses and management agencies to make guiding activities more convenient.
