More trains to run on National Day to meet public demand
The Saigon Railway Transport JSC has said that it will run extra passenger trains in the southern region, aside from opening ticket sales for trains on the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) - Ha Noi route, in order to meet the rising travel demand during the upcoming National Day (September 2) holiday.
Accordingly, between August 31 and September 4, the Saigon Railway Transport JSC will open the sale of tickets for trains running regularly on the HCMC - Ha Noi route (pairs of passenger trains SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8); and on the HCMC - Da Nang route (a pair of trains SE21/SE22).
In addition, the company will sell tickets for trains to destinations with a large number of tourists such as Phan Thiet in Binh Thuan Province, Nha Trang in Khanh Hoa Province, and Quy Nhon in Binh Dinh Province.
Specifically, SE30 passenger train will operate from HCMC to Quy Nhon on August 30 and 31, and September 1 and 2. Meanwhile, SE29 train will run from Quy Nhon to HCMC on August 31, and September 1, 3 and 4.
The SNT1/SNT2 trains will operate on the HCMC - Nha Trang route. The SNT4 passenger train will run from HCMC to Nha Trang on August 31, and the SNT5 train will travel from Nha Trang to HCMC on September 3.
Besides, the company will continue to sell tickets for more trains between HCMC and Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Da Nang, and Ha Noi when the demand is high.
