Sharp rise in petrol and oil prices
The retail prices of petrol and oil were adjusted up in the latest adjustment made at 3:00pm on Friday by the Inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance.

Specifically, E5 RON 92 and RON 95-III petrol now cost VND22,820 and VND23,990 per litre respectively, both up by VND30.
Similarly, the retail price of diesel oil went up VND1,810 to VND 22,420 per litre while kerosene increased by VND 1,620 to VND21,890 per litre. Also, mazut oil rose by VND1,130 per kg to the maximum price of VND 17,670 per kg.
At this price adjustment, relevant units decided to not extract money from petrol sales for the price stabilisation fund.
Since early this year, gasoline prices underwent 23 adjustments with 13 times up, seven down, and three unchanged.
