In his remarks at the event, Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman Tran Chi Cuong said that Central Viet Nam and Central Highlands, along with the Mekong Delta are two major tourist markets in the country. With distinct regional characteristics, a wide range of unique and attractive tourism products have been developed, thereby creating the tourism brands of these areas, attracting domestic and international tourists.
Currently, Vietnamese localities prioritise accelerating the post-pandemic tourism recovery. Therefore, the linkage and promotion of tourism between localities should be concerned and implemented effectively and practically, he added.
Vice Chairman Cuong hoped that through the event, tourism management agencies and tourism service providers in these areas would offer cooperation ideas and share experience and policies to develop more new and unique tourism products, as well as jointly promote tourism development and exchange visitors.
He pledged that Da Nang would create the most favourable conditions for tourism businesses to connect, do business, and promote economic and tourism cooperation in the coming time.
