According to a recent report on the retail sales of consumer goods and services just released by the National General Statistics Office, service revenue accommodation and meals from January to July, 2023 was estimated at VND 377.3 trillion, up 16.3% over the same period last year. Da Nang increased the fastest with 40.3%, followed by Can Tho with 27.2% and Dong Nai with 23.6%.

Tourism revenue from January to July, 2023 was estimated at VND18.6 trillion, up 53.6% over the same period last year. Da Nang climbed by 99.7%, followed by the capital city of Ha Noi with 89.7% and Quang Ninh Province up 82.5%.

Other service revenue from January to July, 2023 was VND356.2 trillion, up 13.8% from the same period last year. Outstandingly, Da Nang increased fastest with 23.3%, followed by Dong Dong Nai Province 20.9% and Ba Ria - Vung Tau 12%.

Retail sales of goods in the review period nationwide was VND2,778 trillion. Da Nang was one of the localities with good retail sales growth over the same period, at 6.5%.
