This is the second time in a row that Sun Group has been honoured by the WTA as Asia's Leading Integrated Tourism Group 2023.

Along with that, the member brand of this group - Sun Hospitality Group - was also awarded Asia's Leading Hospitality Development Company 2023 by WTA for the second year.

Sun Hospitality Group is currently the only resort hotel brand in Viet Nam that owns the most prestigious collection of hotels and resorts in the region, and at the same time marks Viet Nam on the map of the world’s hotel industry, with its position as a group that connects with many top-class hotel management and operation partners globally.

In addition to the above two awards, Sun Group was also named in three other categories, including ‘Asia's Leading Water Park’ for Aquatopia Water Park in Phu Quoc; ‘Asia's Leading Theme Park’ for  Sun World Ba Na Hills in Da Nang and ‘Asia's Leading Luxury Boutique Hotel’ for Capella Ha Noi.
Sun Group has developed several destinations in Da Nang including Sun World Ba Na Hills - Viet Nam’s Leading Theme Park (as awarded by WTA), Golden Bridge, Asia Park - Premier Village Danang resort, Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills hotel, and InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula resort. Up to now, Sun Group's resort and entertainment tourism ecosystems have brought transformation to many destinations in Viet Nam.

Since its inception in 1993, WTA has been held annually to honor the best service providers in the travel and tourism industries. The WTA has been compared to the "Oscars of global tourism" by The Wall Street Journal.
