Digital Consumption - Cashless Payment Month to be launched next month
The Da Nang government has issued a plan to organise a series of activities in the city in response to the National Digital Transformation Day (October 10) 2023.
As for the launch of the Digital Consumption - Cashless Payment Month, agencies, units and localities will post and publicise QR codes to receive online payments at the one-stop shops, as well as promote the implementation of cashless market and business street models.
At the same time, heed will be on guiding individual business households, business establishments, and enterprises citywide to register for online payment and e-commerce accounts, and to be equipped with QR codes to support online payments.
The municipal Department of Industry and Trade will launch a period of promotion to stimulate online shopping demand through e-commerce platforms and boost non-cash payments.
The city’s Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs will continue promoting non-cash payments for monthly social allowances.
Other departments, organisations and units plan to deploy non-cash payments for such services as tuition, hospital, telecommunications, electricity, water, waste collection.
