Rail timetable changes on North - South route
The railway industry has recently changed rail timetables on the North-South route, according to the Viet Nam Railways Corporation (VNR).

Specifically, on the Thong Nhat (North - South) route, passenger train SE2 departs from HCMC at 8:50 pm and arrives in Ha Noi at 8:30 am, train SE4 starts in HCMC at 7:00 pm and ends in Ha Noi at 5:55 pm, train SE6 departs from the HCMC Railway Station 3:25pm and stops at the Ha Noi Railway Station at 4:40am, and train SE8 begins from HCMC at 6:00am to Ha Noi at 7:12pm.
Meanwhile, SE1, SE3, SE5 and SE7 passenger trains depart from Ha Noi at 9:10pm, 7:20pm, 3:30pm and 6:10am and arrive in HCMC at 8:25am, 6:30am, 5:40am and 6:36pm respectively.
In other railway routes, SE22 passenger train begins from HCMC at 10:35 am to Da Nang at 6:00 am, whilst SE21 train departs from Da Nang at 8:00 am and arrives in HCMC at 5:00 pm.
Train SNT2 runs from HCMC at 8:00pm to Nha Trang at 5:40am; train SNT1 starts from Nha Trang at 7:50pm and stops in HCMC at 4:30am; SPT2 train departs from HCMC at 6:45 am and arrives in Phan Thiet at 10:40 am; SPT1 train travels from Phan Thiet at 1:10 pm to HCMC at 5:35 pm.
In addition, VNR operates Thong Nhat trains SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8 between HCMC and Ha Noi daily after the summer vacation and the National Day holiday.
