Total membership revenue of Da Nang Software Business Association reaches VND2,781 billion

During the 2017 - 2022 period, the Da Nang Software Association (DSA) had 29 legal members representing more than 12,490 workers. The total business and production revenue of the members during that period was VND2,781 billion.

The information was released by the DSA at its 4th congress for the 2023 - 2028 term held in the city on Saturday morning.

The association members are businesses, public service units, and training establishments in the fields of software production, service provision, and information technology and communications solutions, as well as organisations and training facilities for human resources for the IT industry.

Over the past 5 years, members of the training sector have provided the labour market with 17,500 bachelors, engineers, programmers, network administrators, and graphic designers.

In addition to production and business activities, members of the business sector have had many products recognised and honoured with professional, national and international awards.

For instance, the Green Global Co., Ltd. won the ‘Vietnam Digital Awards’ in 2020 and 2021, and was named among Top 10 Product Make in Viet Nam in 2022 for its Shared Data Warehouse, and Open Data Portal projects.

Meanwhile, the Unitech JSC has been honoured with district-level database software products, a software to digitise results of administrative procedures in Da Nang.

During that period, member organisations have awarded scholarships, tuition exemptions, and rewards totalling VND71.54 billion, as well as supported the poor with a total amount of more than VND5 billion.

As for the 2023-2028 term, the DSA will focus on building a strong, member-oriented organisation; as well as developing digital technology businesses and fine arts and charity activities.
