Australian Government sponsors assessment and research of planning for Da Nang International Airport
The Da Nang International Airport said that the Ministry of Transport has just approved an adjustment to the project document to review, evaluate and recommend the results of planning research for the international airports of Da Nang, Cam Ranh, Phu Quoc in the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision towards 2050 and planning plan for the Con Dao Airport in the 2021 - 2030 period.

The project is part of the ‘Technical support programme for the transport sector for the 2017 - 2021 period using non-refundable aid from the Australian Government".
Accordingly, the project will review and evaluate the planning plan for Cam Ranh, Da Nang, Phu Quoc airports in the 2021 - 2030 period, with an orientations towards 2050 completed by domestic consultants.
It is known that the project has a total non-refundable ODA capital from the Aus4Transport Programme of 713,000 AUD (more than US$ 450,000) with the expected project implementation duration from July 2023 to June 2024.
