In response to the National Digital Transformation Day (October 10), the Standing Committee of the Da Nang Youth Union coordinated with the city branch of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Viet Nam (BIDV) and the Management Board of Markets in Cam Le District to organise the ‘Cashless payment’ festival on Tuesday.

During the event, Youth Union members, market stallholders and business households were instructed to install QR codes, open e-wallet accounts, and experience cashless payment transactions.

The event aimed to promote the pioneering role of the Youth Union in encouraging and supporting its members and young people to carry out national digital transformation; participating in building a digital government, a digital economy, and a digital society; and contributing to boosting the socio-economic development of Da Nang at a fast and sustainable pace, thereby turning Da Nang into the country’s leading city in the cause of industrialisation and modernisation.
