The Sai Gon Railway Transport JSC has recently added 3,000 tickets for the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday in a bid to meet the increasing travel demand of people.

These tickets are being on sale from December 26 on all channels of the railway sector such as websites, e-wallets, train ticket sales apps on mobile devices, railway stations, ticket sales points and ticket agents.

They are for passengers travelling from Ho Chi Minh City, Di An (Binh Duong) and Bien Hoa (Dong Nai) in the south to stations from Quang Ngai Province in the central region to Ha Noi and vice versa, from January 31 to February 19, 2024 (the 21^st day of the last lunar month to the 10^th day of the first lunar month).

According to Sai Gon Railway Transport JSC, after more than two months on sale from October 20, over 130,000 tickets have been sold out.

Pre-Tet tickets are still available on all routes, including from February 1, 2024 and before and on February 8 and 9, 2024. There are few tickets left for all stations from February 2 - 7, 2024.

Also according to the company, there are still many tickets left for all days after Tet. Passengers who need to buy tickets can visit railway stations, or ticket sales websites, e-wallets and train ticket sales apps, and contact through ticket sales switchboards.
