The first-ever Christmas market, held in Da Nang from December 8 - 10, with a scale of more than 60 stalls, created a vibrant space for both locals and tourists at the end of the year.

The event was jointly organised by Danang 365, the American Chamber of Commerce in Viet Nam (AmCham Viet Nam), the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Viet Nam (AusCham Viet Nam), the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Viet Nam (Spanish Cham), the Tourism Promotion Centre under the Da Nang Department of Tourism, and the Premier Village Danang Resort.

Along with the shopping experience, the biggest-ever Christmas market offered a variety of entertainment activities for all ages and art performances by local artists.

Visitors to the event had the opportunity to participate in games and workshops, and received attractive gifts from the lucky draw programme and special auction.

Mr. Ashwadi Giupta, an Indian tourist, remarked "We were very impressed with everything here because of colourful and bustling space, and delicious food. This is truly a wonderful experience."

According to the organisers, the organisation of this event wanted to bring the Christmas atmosphere to Da Nang people and tourists with a useful playground for families. This year’s market was in larger scale than the previous year’s.

Through the event, the organisers presented gifts for children in difficult circumstances. They hoped that such an exciting event will be held annually in order to bring festive colours to Da Nang.
