Da Nang CPI down 0.05% in Nov.
Da Nang’s consumer price index (CPI) in November decreased by 0.05% compared to the previous month and increased by 3.13% from the same period in 2022, the Da Nang Statistics Office reported on Thursday.

In November, seven out of 11 product groups of main consumer goods and services witnessed price rises, three others saw a fall and the remaining one recorded stable price as compared to the previous month.
In detail, the highest increase of 0.27 % was seen in the group of food and beverage services increased by 0.27%.
Other groups with price hikes included other goods and services (0.25%); garments, hats, and shoes (0.22%); traffic (0.16%); household appliances and equipment (0.12%); culture, entertainment and tourism (0.08%); medicines and medical services (0.01%).
Meanwhile, groups with falling prices compared to the previous month included housing, electricity and water, fuel and construction materials (0.86%); post and telecommunications (0.55%); beverages and tobacco (0.08%).
The CPI of the remaining education group remained stable compared to the previous month.
The fall in November CPI was mainly attributed to the decrease in the kerosene price index (5.56%) and fuel price index (1.29%).
Besides, during the month, the weather was rainy and people's demand went down, causing the price of electricity and water to decrease by 6.02% and 0.06%, respectively.
Also, the demand for meat decreased so the price of cattle meat was down by 1.22%.
