The Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs’ Association held its 5^th Open Congress for the Executive Board in the 7^th term and reviewed its performance in 2023 on Friday.

According to a report at the conference, the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs’ Association now has 9 affiliated clubs with 780 members. In 2023, the association organised and participated in more than 200 activities including training, improving member capacity, policy dialogues, and trade connection.

Notable among them were a series of events connecting young entrepreneurs in three regions, a dialogue between local authorities and businesses, and a forum entitled "Comprehensive strategic partnership between Viet Nam and the US - What opportunities for Vietnamese businesses?".

In addition to connection and economic development activities, the Association got actively involved in charity and social activities with an amount of more than VND800 million.

At the event, eight individuals were honoured with Certificates of Merits from the Viet Nam Confederation of Commerce and Industry for their outstanding achievements in 2023.

Also, 9 groups and 11 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Viet Nam Young Entrepreneurs’ Association, whilst a group and a individual were awarded with Certificates of Merit from the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee in Da Nang.

On the occasion, the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Investment and Startup Club made its debut. It is tasked with strengthening support and connecting the city's innovative startup ecosystem.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia, Director of the Nghia Thong Gia Company Limited, is the club's chairman.
