In his remarks at the event, municipal Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved in the socio-economic field, especially budget revenue and expenditure and the efforts of financial industry and localities.

Although budget revenue has not reached estimates, this is the result of the highest efforts in the current difficult economic context, he added.

In addition to budget revenue, units and localities ensured spending according to required activities while still saving costs, ensuring budget balance, and creating a solid foundation for the following years.

In 2024, it is forecasted that there will be many difficulties and huge challenges for the whole country in general and Da Nang in particular. Therefore, he stressed the need for relevant units and localities to continue to overcome and roll out resolutions right from the first days of the new year.
