Gasoline rates remained largely unchanged, while diesel prices experienced an increase in the latest adjustment on Thursday by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

Oil prices fluctuated strongly during the latest adjustment on December 28

The retail price of RON95 stayed the same at VND22,580 per litre, while biofuel E5 RON92 slipped VND10 per litre to VND21,180.

Meanwhile, the price of diesel was increased by VND260 to VND19,780 per litre and that of mazut rose by VND420 to VND15,685 per kg. Kerosene is now on sale at the price of VND20,457, a decrease of VND37.

At this price adjustment, the two ministries decided to extract VND300 per kg from the mazut price and not to use the petrol and oil price stabilisation fund to all the fuel products.
