The Da Nang Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs said on Monday that it has received reports from 116 businesses operating in the city about the salary levels in 2022 and bonuses for the upcoming New Year and Lunar New Year holidays 2024.

Specifically, the highest monthly salary is VND250 million at foreign-invested enterprises, whilst the lowest is VND4.16 million.

The bonuses for New Year and Lunar New Year 2024 will be offered at VND300,000 - VND34 million, and VND500,000 - VND45 million, respectively at one-member limited liability companies with 100% charter capital held by the State.

Joint-stock companies with State-owned shares are expected to give an average bonus of VND100,000 - VND21.4 million for New Year 2024, and VND500,000 - VND150 million for Tet 2024.

For private enterprises, the highest 2024 New Year bonus will be VND10 million whilst the lowest is likely to be VND50,000. The highest Lunar New Year bonus is expected to be more than VND1.047 billion, and the lowest VND200,000.

The maximum New Year and Tet bonuses to be paid by FDI ones will be VND157 million and VND311 million/person, whilst the minimum for two holidays will be VND100,000/person.
