The highlights on the occasion are Christmas and New Year celebrations. Many tourist sites and attractions have been splendidly decorated for tourists to check-in, such as at Furama Danang resort, Danang Marriott Resort and Spa, and Asia Park.
Since early December, the Asia Park has been open to the public for free and applies an "all in one" combo package in the park at the price of VND120,000 for per adult and VND100,000 for per child.
In addition to having fun with entertainment games, visitors to the park can take photos with Christmas miniatures here.
Visitors to the Sun World Ba Na Hills from November 10 to December 31 have the opportunity to take part in a winter festival with exciting experience. In particular, they can immerse themselves in a splendid European Christmas scene with the green colour of a giant Christmas trees, take photos with funny snowman family at the Convergence Square, and go for a stroll in a miniature snow-covered winter birch forest at the Eclipse Square with reindeer and polar bear models.
Besides, there are many unique minishows with the themes "Christmas Dance" and “The Gift of Magic”.
Notably, the first-ever Christmas Market was organised at the Premier Village Danang Resort from December 8 -10.
With a scale of more than 60 booths selling handicrafts, unique souvenirs and tasty food, the event brought a colorful festive atmosphere to both locals and tourists.

According to people working in the hospitality sector, by the end of 2023, the number of tourists does not change too much due to the impact of the world economy after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Minh Huy, Director of Sales and Marketing Department of the Danang Marriott Resort & Spa, said that the travel trend of visitors to Da Nang on the occasion is that some travel in groups and participate in organised tours, whilst others are independent travellers.
In addition, Da Nang is also an attractive destination for MICE tourists (Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing, and Exhibitions) and resort tourists.
The majority of them come from such international tourist markets as South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong (China), the US and Australia, plus and some new countries in the Asian region such as India.
To meet the increasing needs of tourists, on the occasion, resorts in the city are offering a number of attractive incentives, including free entrance tickets for Christmas or New Year parties when booking year-end vacation packages, a 20% discount for elderly guests, and family vacation package with many gifts and culinary incentives for young guests.
Chairman of the Da Nang Hotel Association Nguyen Duc Quynh said that tourism activities in the last months of the year were less exciting than those in the peak summer travel season.
The main reasons are thought to be that direct flights connecting Da Nang with some potential tourist markets like China have not yet resumed, whilst the Da Nang - India route has been temporarily suspended.
However, with the potential of infrastructure, tourism products and reputation, Da Nang is still a destination loved and chosen by many tourists, especially for MICE tourism and a type of tourism combining business travel and leisure time.
According to general assessment, on the occasion of Christmas and New Year 2024, the room occupancy rate of hotels and resorts in the city is expected to reach about 35-45%.
Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association Cao Tri Dung said that the city is witnessing a strong recovery of tourism after the COVID-19 pandemic, so Christmas and New Year 2024 holidays will see a better recovery when more new international air routes connecting Da Nang and Manila (Philippines), and such domestic markets as Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City have been opened.
