Petrol prices continue dropping in latest adjustment

Retail prices of petrol fell sharply in the latest adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance on Thursday.

The price of E5 RON92 decreased by VND778 to VND20,512 per litre, while that of RON95-III is being sold at VND21,405, inched down by VND917 per litre.

Meanwhile, oil prices were also adjusted down, with diesel oil being sold at the highest of VND19,010 per litre, down VND711, and kerosene priced at VND19,964 per litre, a drop of VND958. Mazut oil price fell by VND540 to no more than VND14,978 per kilogramme.

In this price adjustment, the two ministries decided not to use the petrol and oil price stabilisation fund.
