During the meeting, the participants discussed contents related to building a project on developing semiconductor chip and microchips in the city; the formation of the Center for Research and Training in Circuit Design and Artificial Intelligence (AI); the establishment of working group and advisory group; and some specific mechanisms and policies to support experts, scientists, and students participating in research and training in the fields.

Da Nang is orienting its approach to participating in the global semiconductor and IC production chain based on human resources as the decisive factor and prioritising human resource development for the design and testing stages in its semiconductor and microchip value chain.

The meeting aimed to concretise Notice No. 529 dated October 19, 2023 of the Standing Committee of the municipal Party Committee at the Workshop on Human Resource Development to serve the microchip and semiconductor industry, and some issues raised by Da Nang.

In his closing speech at the meeting, Secretary Quang requested the Party Board of the municipal People's Committee to direct the urgent implementation of the conclusions related to the development of microchips and semiconductors in the city. This will contribute to strongly innovating the city's growth model.
