Da Nang welcomes Chinese-flagged high-class cruise ship

The Chinese-flagged cruise ship Viking Cruise, also known as Zhao Shang Yi Dun, carrying more than 700 passengers, docked at Da Nang's Tien Sa Port at 2:00pm on Wednesday.

After the cruise ship arrives in Da Nang, passengers are taken on tours to popular tourist attractions in Da Nang such as the Son Tra Peninsula, the Linh Ung Pagoda, the My Khe Beach, the Museum of Cham Sculpture, the Sun World Ba Na Hills, the Marble Mountains; to enjoy local cuisine; or to Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An Ancient Town to experience cooking lessons, and making lanterns.

The high-class cruise ship Zhao Shang Yi Dun operates the Shekou Port (China) - Ha Long Bay (Viet Nam) route. It is planned to leave Da Nang at 10:00 pm on Thursday for Hong Kong (China) and port of Shekou in Shenzhen (China).

Since early 2024, a total of seven cruise ships have brought nearly 5,000 tourists to Da Nang.

A representative of the municipal Department of Tourism said that, during the ship's stay in Da Nang, relevant units worked together to ensure the tourism environment, security and safety during the time of welcoming passengers, as well as stop the harassment of tourists.
