Over 150 OCOP products on display at Cam Le Spring Market 2024

The Spring Market 2024 themed ‘Connecting supply and demand, and promoting OCOP and typical products, and ornamental creatures of Cam Le District’ was officially opened at the Culture, Information and Sports Centre based in Khue Trung Ward on Thursday evening.

Hosted by the Cam Le District People's Committee, the event aims to promote OCOP and typical products, and ornamental plants, of the district, as well as create a joyful spring atmosphere for people.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of Cam Le District People's Committee Nguyen Quang Vinh said that the Spring Market provided the good opportunity for production and business facilities to display, promote and introduce their handicraft, agricultural and food products in various types, designs, styles and quality in a bid to meet consumers' needs and tastes. This will contribute to expanding product consumption markets to other localities, and boosting the district’s socio-economic development.

This year’s Spring Market has a scale of 30 booths, with more than 150 items of 11 OCOP production facilities on display. Included are handicrafts, textiles, fashion, and ornamental plants.

Visitors to the event have the opportunity to enjoy cultural exchange programmes, ‘Bai Choi’ performances, and local specialties, as well as receive gifts from a lucky draw programme.

The market lasts until February 3, 2024.
