Authorities in Da Nang have decided to cancel a project on expanding the Hoa Xuan Bridge and approaching roads.

The main reason for the cancellation is that the project is no longer consistent with the 2019 Architecture Law, and Decision No. 359/QD-TTg dated March 15, 2021 of the Prime Minister on adjusting the Da Nang Master Planning to 2030 with a vision to 2045.

It is known that the abovementioned project was approved by the municipal People's Committee in Decision No. 2455/QD-UBND dated May 5, 2017.

The project aimed to improve the load-bearing capacity of the bridge, enhance the vehicles’ ability to pass through the bridge and approaching roads, create synchronous technical infrastructure in the locality, and serve the travel needs of people.
