Efforts to improve service quality for tourists to Da Nang
The Da Nang Department of Tourism held a meeting on Thursday with tourism businesses to thoroughly improve service quality in preparation for serving guests on the forthcoming holidays of April 30 and May 1 and the peak tourist season 2024.

During the event, the municipal Department of Tourism informed the participants about the draft Plan to organise the tourism stimulus programme 2024, along with a number of special events and festivals during the summer, public holidays, and Tet.
The Department of Tourism also guided registration procedures and noticed the implementation of promotion policies for tourism products and services during the upcoming public holidays and peak tourist season. Accordingly, the focus will be on ensuring food safety and service quality; and publicising business promotion policies, price display, and plans and procedures for handling incidents related to guests at tourism service establishments.
Director of the municipal Department of Tourism Truong Thi Hong Hanh highly appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of local tourism service providers for maintaining and improving service quality, bringinging attractive products and services, and increasing experiences for domestic and foreign visitors to the city.
She, therefore, encouraged tourism businesses in the city to respond and register to participate in the programme in the following forms: giving away free vouchers to experience services; organising Happy Hour programme; carrying out other promotional programmes; and coordinating with travel agencies to develop stimulus combo and themed product packages.
