Gas prices settle down slightly amid increasing cost of oil

Gas prices settled lower on Thursday following the latest adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Finance.

Specifically, the retail price of RON95-III decreased by VND10 to VND23,540 per litre, while that of E5RON92 bio-fuel fell by VND20 to VND22,490 per litre.

Meanwhile, prices of oil products increased simultaneously. Accordingly, the prices of diesel and kerosene rose by VND70 and VND100 to VND20,540 and VND20,700 per litre, respectively.

Mazut is now sold at VND15,430 per kg, VND300 higher than the previous adjustment.

During this adjustment period, the two ministries decided not to use the petrol price stabilisation fund for gasoline, diesel and kerosene products, except for mazut oil, which is allocated VND300/kg.
