Representatives from the Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, and the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs’ Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding on training and developing start-ups on Wednesday.

Under the deal, the two sides will together organise programmes to seek and train elite startups, and to train and exchange human resources.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Le Tri Hai, Chairman of the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs’ Association proposed to increase exchanges and commercial transactions between the association members and Goyang City.

He also suggested working sessions between the Association and enterprises of technology valley and economic free zone should be held in Goyang City in the coming time.

For his part, Mr. Lee Dong Hwan, Mayor of Goyang City, said that the signing ceremony was a premise for the two sides to conduct bilateral cooperation. He also voiced his hope for upcoming cooperation programmes between the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs’ Association and South Korean businesses, thereby contributing to promoting the cooperative relationships between Da Nang and South Korea in the near future.
