Following the success of the high-quality train on the Ha Noi - Da Nang route (SE19/20), the SE21/22 train has been put into operation by the railway industry, serving the travel needs of people during the ongoing 5-day break for National Reunification Day (April 30) and International Workers’ Day (May 1) holiday. This is expected to become a "hot" tourism product in this summer.
Many tourists expressed their joy when experiencing new, unique services on the first high-quality train between Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Le Van Chien, Director of the Da Nang Railway Transport Branch, said that the launch of the SE21/SE22 passenger train aimed to bring passengers interesting experiences on Viet Nam Railways' journeys, thereby contributing to connecting tourism, and boosting socio-economic and cultural development of regions.

Accordingly, the carriages used on train SE21/22 are the best selected by the Viet Nam Railways Corporation to renovate in order to increase utility and bring high aesthetic effects.
In particular, there are many modern features to serve passengers for the first time, such as the shells of the train cars being newly painted in white, gray and blue tones with the main image of a flamingo on the Dong Son bronze drum - a symbol associated with the Vietnamese culture.
Additionally, there is a carriage with 180-degree rotating seats, allowing passengers to adjust their seating direction as needed, located in the seating area.
in addition to upgrading equipment and service quality on the train, the railway sector is investing in renovating and beautifying the waiting rooms at railway stations, as well as enhancing service quality at stations in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
On the train journey, passengers can try and order local regional specialties as gifts for their relatives by scanning the QR code on their smartphone.
