Dutch company seeks investment opportunities at Lien Chieu Seaport project
The Lien Chieu Seaport project in Da Nang is a great opportunity for his company to diversify its investment environment, Mr. Marinus Jan Verbrugge, the CEO of Verbrugge International B.V. based in the Netherlands, made the remarks during his meeting on Thursday with Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman Tran Chi Cuong.

CEO Marinus Jan Verbrugge said that Verbrugge International B.V. was founded in 1958, and headquartered in Zeeland, the Netherlands.
Currently, Verbrugge International B.V. is a leading logistics services provider in the Netherlands with a capacity of about 10 million tonnes of goods per year, a total operating area of more than 210 ha, and a modern warehouse of 700,000m2.
The foreign guest expressed that his company sought investment opportunities at the Lien Chieu Seaport project in Da Nang. At the same time, he pledged that his company will facilitate extensive connections in the logistics industry between the two sides.
For his part, Vice Chairman Cuong highly lauded the company's interest in the city's investment environment, especially the Lien Chieu Seaport project.
He unveiled that the city will conduct a bidding process to select capable investors for the implementation of the project with the aim to soon turn the Lien Chieu Port into an international transshipment gateway to participate in the world transport supply chain.
Once completed, the port will create a competitive advantage to attract shipping lines, transport companies, shippers, and branded logistics businesses, thereby forming a seaport and logistics hub for the whole country, and serving import-export, and transshipment.
