Mr. Phan Dinh Trac, Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs, paid a field trip to the Da Nang FPT Complex and met with leaders of the FPT Software Central Region Co., Ltd. on Thursday as part of his working visit to Da Nang.

During their reception for the central official, leaders of the FPT Corporation said that, in 2024, FPT has been focusing on five keywords "Artificial Intelligence (AI), Semiconductor, Automotive, Digital transformation and Green".

In particular, FPT has launched the FPT Gen AI - a platform that leverages Generative AI, developed by FPT Smart Cloud, to empower and add new capabilities for AI-powered products and solutions, aiming to heighten customer engagement, optimize operations, and elevate employee experience. FPT plans to integrate AI into all of its products and services.

As for semiconductor field, FPT Corporation targets to build an initial resource of 10,000 people, and the number is expected to later be increased to 20,000-30,000 people per year to serve the semiconductor industry.

In 2022, the Corporation established the FPT Semiconductor Company after nearly 10 years of gestation. At the same time, in 2023, content about semiconductor circuits was included in the curriculum at colleges and affiliated colleges, with the opening of first classes.

Currently, FPT is accompanying Da Nang in high-quality human resource planning and training for the semiconductor industry and in achieving of the goal of turning itself into a "Silicon valley" in Viet Nam.

In the FPT Da Nang Technology Urban Area, in 2023 alone, the FPT University trained more than 17,500 students.

The FPT Edu Global - FPT International Student Exchange Center, and the Fsemi - the Semiconductor Microchip Training and Export Center, have been established, aimed at training and providing high-quality human resources for the city in many fields. The FPT Complex provides a workplace for more than 5,000 IT engineers.

In 2024, the FPT Da Nang targets a 30% growth in revenue from the technology segment, and 30% increase in total personnel (about nearly 2,000 people).

Mr. Phan Dinh Trac highly appreciated the development direction of FPT Corporation, and affirmed that this was one of the leading and pioneering innovative units in hi-tech and new technology in Viet Nam.

He highlighted that FPT's business field was a pioneer in laying the foundation for spreading and realizing the 4.0 industrial revolution. FPT's industries and fields create many jobs and high incomes for working-age people, especially training high-quality human resources for the city.

Specially, FPT's activities contribute to connecting Viet Nam with the modern, smart world; as well as affirming that Vietnamese people are not inferior to any countries in the world in terms of intelligence, creativity, dynamism, and flexibility.
