One of the products that receive a lot of attention from tourism businesses, travellers, and tourists this summer is the “Enjoy Danang Festival 2024” programme.

Tourist attraction

This year, summer activities and events are prepared very early by Da Nang’s tourism industry and businesses with the desire to woo more domestic and international tourists to the city.

Deputy Director of the Hai Van Cat International Travel Company Nguyen Ngoc Thien said that the city's tourism industry already announced information about programmes and activities to travel businesses. Therefore, tourism businesses can be proactive in building tour programmes, and introducing more products of the city during tourists' trips, thereby helping visitors have more experiences and enjoy added values.

In addition to the aforementioned events, many tourist attractions citywide have renewed themselves to attract more visitors during the summer holiday.

In particular, the Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area has launched a series of world-class shows gathering circus and magic artists; the Sun Fest Fair; B'estival  2024; and a Fairy Blossom show with the participation of nearly 300 artists and circus performers.

At the Danang Downtown (previously known as the Asia Park), there are jetski and flyboard performances, water and land puppetry shows, and a night market.

The Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa plans to organise "Nippon Oi" - the largest anime and cosplay festival in central region in August.

According to Mrs. Ngo Thi Thy Huong, Banquet Sales Manager of the Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa, her unit has prepared products targeting three generations of customers including the elderly, couples and children this summer. Each different age group will have different accompanying services so they can have fun and experience in the same space, without having to go far.

Chairman of the Da Nang Tourism Association Cao Tri Dung remarked the general tendency of tourists is to often look for new things. Therefore, the tourism industry often has to add new products and renew existing products to meet the needs and tastes of tourists.

Events and festivals this summer are being held in a variety of ways, not only at beaches but also at tourist attractions in order to increase experience for visitors to Da Nang, he added.

During this year's peak summer season, Da Nang’s tourism business community and association are committed not to increasing prices of services and hotel rooms so that tourists can rest assured to have fun during their stay in the city.
