Accordingly, Starlux Airlines' self-service bag drop at International Terminal T2 allows passengers to quickly and conveniently carry out their own baggage check-in procedures.

Passengers can easily print their bag tags at self-service bag drop kiosks, and then tag their own checked baggage and place it on the conveyor belt. The system automatically transports luggage to the security control area and transfers it to the plane.

In addition, the Passenger Assistant Team (PAT) is always present around the self-baggage counter area to assist passengers throughout the check-in process.

Mr. Elvis Chao, Chief Representative of Starlux Airlines in Da Nang, said that Da Nang Airport’s International Terminal is the first airport terminal in Viet Nam to have a self-service bag drop system. The automated system helps reduce congestion and waiting check-in times for passengers by 15 - 20 minutes.

Previously, Da Nang International Airport’s Terminal T2 offered self-check-in kiosks, autogate and self-boarding gates for passengers. The addition of self-service bag drop system at Terminal T2 allows passengers to use a fully automated service from check-in, luggage storage, departure and boarding.
