The Da Nang Authority has just issued a notice on support for small and medium-sized enterprises according to the national government’s Decree No. 80/2021/ND-CP dated August 26, 2021 in the field of industry and trade in 2024.

Specifically, small and medium-sized startups will be supported with up to 50% of the consulting contract value for successfully registering an account to sell products and services on international e-commerce platforms but not exceeding VND100 million/contract/year/startup; and up to 50% of the cost of maintaining accounts on domestic and international e-commerce platforms but not exceeding VND50 million/year/business and not exceeding 2 years from the time the business successfully registering account on e-commerce platform.

Also, they will receive financial support for costs for renting locations, designing and setting up booths, and transporting products on display; and for travel, food and accommodation expenses for representatives of businesses participating in trade promotion exhibitions, but no more than VND30 million/year/enterprise for events held domestically and no more than VND50 million/year/enterprise for events held abroad.

Small and medium-sized enterprises participating in industrial clusters and value chains are selected for support when they have a joint purchase contract for input materials; a joint sale contract for products; and purchase, sale, cooperation and linkage contracts with businesses in industrial clusters.

Meanwhile, criteria for determining the value chain and selecting small and medium-sized enterprises to participate in the value chain for support according to the provisions of Article 24 of Decree No. 80/2022/ND-CP, are identified.

In particular, small and medium-sized enterprises specialises in production and distribution of products to consumers, as well as have the potential to provide products and services to leading enterprises in the chain, and sales, cooperation and linkage contracts with leading businesses in the chain. There are leading enterprises in the value chain.  

Small and medium-sized enterprises send documents proposing support needs to the municipal Department of Industry and Trade located on the 19^th floor of the Da Nang Administrative Center, 24 Tran Phu.
