In the first half of the year, the total revenue from the retail sales of consumer goods and service at current prices are estimated at VND 3,098 trillion, up 8.6% compared to the same period last year, if excluding the price factor of 5.7%.

Specifically, the total revenue from the retail sales of goods was VND 2,398 trillion, up 7.4% over the same period last year.

Da Nang recorded the third highest retail sales growth rate in the country, with an increase of 7.8% over the same period. The city’s revenue from accommodation and catering services stood at VND 356.4 trillion, a rise of 15.2% over the same period last year.

The city recorded the second highest growth rate in revenue from accommodation and catering services in the country, with 22.2% over the same period.

The local revenue from travel and tourism activities was VND 29.4 trillion, up 37.1% over the same period last year. Da Nang is the locality with the second highest growth rate in travel revenue in the country, up 38.6%. Revenue from other services numbered VND 314.6 trillion, up 8.9% over the same period last year.
