The event is jointly being organised by IEEE, the world’s largest technical professional organisation, together with the University of Côte d'Azur (France), The French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), the Da Nang International Institute of Technology (DNIIT) under the University of Da Nang-UD and the International University -Ho Chi Minh City National University.

The conference attracts more than 150 guests from more than 20 countries and territories all over the world, many of whom are distinguished speakers, including Prof. Yahya Rahmat-Samii from the California University in the US and Prof. Karu Esselle from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia.

The event aims to provide an interdisciplinary forum for sharing experience and discussions about state-of-the-art in the development of antennas and antenna systems with measurements in controlled and non-controlled (in-situ) environments, electromagnetic measurement techniques, scattering and diffraction measurements, near-field and far-field measurements, radar and RCS measurements, simulations and prediction of measurements in realistic configurations… for various applications such as, electromagnetic metrology and compatibility, terrestrial and space-based communications including wireless communications, electronic warfare, UAVs, UAS and drones, microwave, millimeter-wave and sub-millimeter systems, inverse scattering and imaging methods and techniques, computational methods for antenna design, industry, medical and e-health applications.

The ongoing event also emphasises and promotes the role of UD in expanding the training of semiconductor human resources, with the goal of building Da Nang into a centre for the development of semiconductors and artificial intelligence (AI), embedded control and embedded AI; contributing to helping Viet Nam realise the goal of becoming an advanced country in high technology and AI.

It offers an opportunity to promote connections and cooperation among research institutes, international organisations, and the business community, giving deeper understanding of the challenges and potential of emerging technologies, thus promoting cooperation in developing innovative solutions and applications in the fields of communications, defence, environmental protection, and health care.
