Starting from January 1, 2025, Da Nang International Airport will charge service fees for passengers using the priority security screening lane at domestic passenger terminal T1.

At the terminal T1, Da Nang International Airport will have a priority lane for those who need to have their security screening done quickly without having to wait.

There will be an instruction board, security guards and specialised equipment to conduct separate security screening checks according to regulations.

Passengers must pay VND 100,000 when using this service. Children under 2 years old are free, whilst those aged from 2-12 receive a 50% discount on the service fee.

This service helps passengers avoid waiting in line, quickly clears the entrance to the security control gate, and avoids local congestion during peak times.

Mr. Phan Kieu Hung, Director of Da Nang International Airport, said that the service of charging for a separate lane when checking security at the airport is no longer new in the world. It has been applied in some airports in Viet Nam. This is a non-aviation service, which does not affect the quality of transportation services, and change the aviation security control process.
