High expectations for Da Nang Free Trade Zone

On the sidelines of the forum "Free Trade Zone - New driving force for the development of Da Nang's logistics industry" held in the city on Thursday, representatives from enterprises and businesses’ associations shared opinions about the opportunities for Da Nang when forming a free trade zone.

Also, delegates visited booths introducing the potential for the development of the city's logistics industry and the products and services of logistics enterprises. The booths were from many units, enterprises, and associations in the fields of transportation - delivery, warehousing - cold chain, packaging equipment - technology, banking services and logistics technology applications.

The forum
The forum "Da Nang Free Trade Zone - New driving force for the development of Da Nang's logistics industry" was organised by the municipal Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Viet Nam Logistics Business Association with the participation of more than 350 delegates.
The forum is the first of its kind in the city on free trade zones and logistics industry. It is one of the activities to concretize the implementation of Resolution No. 136 and the Project on Logistics Services Development in Da Nang and effectively connecting with the Central Key Economic Zone, and the East-West Economic Corridor, during the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.
The forum is the first of its kind in the city on free trade zones and logistics industry.
