The city’s leaders also requested relevant departments and related agencies to support production units in researching and developing extremely concise stories and presentations on product communication, with a focus on fully conveying product information to consumers, as well as designing more attractive, better, more environmentally- friendly product packaging models to attract consumers.

According to Vice Chairman Cuong, the Halal (Islamic) market currently has great potential for trade development, so relevant agencies should research and propose for the city’s OCOP products to access this market.

On the other hand, it is necessary to further promote the application of digital transformation technology in production, trade promotion and online sales of OCOP products. In particular, the Da Nang Department of Tourism is mulling over bringing agricultural products to service businesses and hotels to serve tourists.

It is known that the total number of products proposed by the People's Committees of Son Tra, Lien Chieu and Thanh Khe districts in this assessment and classification round was 11 products. At this conference, the council evaluated and classified six new products and five re-evaluated products with 4-star standards. Specifically, the re-evaluated products were Nam O fish sauce - Huong Lang Co (Huong Lang Co household business); Huong Que high-class shoe insoles (Huong Que Production, Processing, Import-Export Co., Ltd.); Binh Minh Fish Sauce Cooperative); fried mackerel sausage (Bac Dau Co.,Ltd); Phuoc Ha ‘cha bo’ (beef paste) (Phuoc Ha sausage production household business).

New products proposed for 4-star recognition were Ngu Hanh Agarwood (Dana Elite Production, Trade and Service Co., Ltd); Huong Que slippers (Huong Que Production, Processing, Import-Export Co., Ltd); Ngoon brand crispy young grapefruit slices, tea and crispy sticks (Nhien Tam Cooperative, Lien Chieu Branch).

As of December 26, 2024, there were 118 products recognised as OCOP in the city; including one potential 5-star product participating in the national level assessment, 43 achieving 4 stars and 74 achieving 3 stars.
