Da Nang chosen by Malaysian couple for wedding ceremony
According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, the bride Lavania and groom Kuramaguru, both from Malaysia, have been warmly welcomed at Da Nang International Airport for under the pilot programme to attract wedding tourists in the city.

Upon arrival at the airport, the Malaysian couple have been assisted with customs clearance of goods and luggage; and presented flowers, souvenirs, vouchers for service experiences. Also, staff of the city’s tourism industry have projected a wedding welcome message on the LED screen at the immigration area.
The wedding ceremony of the Malaysian couple is organised at the Naman Retreat Danang Hotel on December 16 and 17 with nearly 100 guests from Malaysia.
The couple shared that the reason for choosing Da Nang for their important event was due to the attractiveness of the destination, the diversity of high-class resort services, and the enthusiastic and dedicated support from the city’s authorities.
In 2024 alone, the municipal Department of Tourism advised and organised about 50 domestic and international wedding events for couples from such markets as India, Australia, Japan, Taiwan (China), Singapore, and Malaysia. In particular, Da Nang was chosen to host the wedding ceremonies for 4 couples from the Indian elite with more than 1,200 guests and dozens of solemn ceremonies and unique, impressive activities.
